What We Shipped — October 2026

A running log of what our team actually did on this site and on client work this month. Sites that never change never grow trust — here is ours, in the open.

Site & infrastructure

  • Rebuilt the structured-data graph site-wide: single parent-brand entity, per-page Brand/CollectionPage nodes, FAQ and Person entities, real ItemList counts on archives.
  • Deployed llms.txt and llms-full.txt for AI search engines, with an explicit crawler-welcome robots policy.
  • Rebuilt the mobile menu as a 90% slide-in drawer with overlay, accordion panels and full keyboard support.
  • Added a redirect safety net: every legacy flat URL now 301s to its canonical, term-prefixed permalink.
  • Shipped the speed self-check tool and build cost calculator refinements based on early usage feedback.

Content

  • Published Core Web Vitals, white-screen and plugin-conflict troubleshooting guides, re-tested on WP 6.8.
  • Added visible revision history and author attribution to all guides and reviews.
  • Open-sourced our testing methodology at how-we-test and our standards at editorial-policy.

Next up

  • New head-to-head benchmark pages with raw measurement tables.
  • A .htaccess snippet generator tool for self-hosters.
  • Two new client case studies (permission pending).
